High School Musical 3: Senior Year‘s Ultimate Fan Pep Rally with Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, and More!

Already out promoting the October 24th release of their new movie, Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale joined fellow HSM 3 stars at Disney’s High School Musical 3: Senior Year Ultimate Fan Pep Rally.

Held at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Saturday (August 23), Zac and Tizzie teamed up with pals like Chris Warren Jr., Kaycee Stroh and Olesya Rulin – with the group doing their best in pumping up an already ecstatic crowd.

The teen fans on-hand, 1000 of them to be precise, won their spot at the sing-a-long-version viewing, also getting in a sneak peek of HSM3.

As previously reported by The Teen Scoop, HSM 3 picks up with “Troy and Gabriella struggling with the idea of being separated from one another as college approaches. Along with the rest of the Wildcats, they stage a spring musical to address their experiences, hopes and fears about their future.”

Corbin Bleu Recording New Sophomore Album!

Corbin Bleu spoke with Billboard.com, about his new album that he’ll be recording, and he talked a little bit about High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

“There will be a lot of differences with the second album,” Bleu says. “First of all, it’s just more personal. I’m involved in every aspect of the writing. As far as the direction of the music, it’s very different. I wanted this album to have something that was a little bit of rock, a little bit of R&B and a little bit of pop.”

“The R&B has wonderful rhythms and beats,” he continues. “I’m a dancer, and when I perform live I love to dance. So I have to make sure it has that nice kicking bass. The pop sound is to make it a little bit more now, and when it comes to the rock, it makes it very live feeling, very instrumental. I listen to a lot of music like classic rock, alternative, hip-hop, classical, jazz, whatever. So I’m very musical and like to be able to incorporate that into my music as well.”

Bleu, 19, said producer Eric Hudson (Kanye West) is attached to the majority of the project, along with songwriter/lyricist Claude Kelly. So far all three have collaborated on material. Unreleased songs already getting stage time include the ballad “Close,” the anthemic rock track “Whatever It Takes” and the R&B-leaning “Champion.” The currently untitled album is due out in February 2009 via Hollywood Records.

Looking ahead to the Oct. 24 feature film release of High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Bleu hints fans can expect big numbers.

“(Director) Kenny Ortega, when he has a bigger budget, he’s going to go for it,” Bleu says. “So we have really huge numbers and a lot of different dance genres including cha-cha-cha and breakdancing. We even have a Bob Fosse tribute. Zac (Efron) and I have a really cool duet called ‘The Boys are Back.'”

Cool! We can’t wait to hear some new material from Corbin! 🙂

Ashley Tisdale and Jared Murillo Grocery Shopping!

Singer and Actress of Disney’s High School Musical, Ashley Tisdale, and boyfriend, Jared Murillo, were spotted in Los Angeles, CA, on Wednesday (July 30), shopping at a local grocery store.

So, we’re guessing Ashley and her beau for over a year now, are living with each other???

Anyways, the couple have been spotted at numerous places lately…they must be in SERIOUS love with each other!!!

Original Cast Won’t Be Back for High School Musical 4!

Ashley Tisdale talked to Access Hollywood about how hard it was that last day filming the new Walt DIsney Pictures’ movie High School Musical 3: Senior Year. “We went into the last day thinking, ‘It’ll all be fine ‘cause we’re all really good friends and we’re so close,’” Tisdale recounted to Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush for an interview airing on The Billy Bush Show tonight. “It wasn’t even the last scene — we couldn’t even get through it. We were crying and just so emotional over the whole thing.”

And as Ashley has said before, she’s fairly sure the whole cast is moving on after this.

“We’re so attached to each other,” Tisdale explained “We’ve had such fun doing these movies…. It’s like working with your best friends all the time. It’s definitely something that’s tough to leave and say goodbye to.”

And as Tisdale added, they won’t be back. “I heard they’re going to do a High School Musical 4, but we have nothing to do with it,” she said. “I think we’re all doing other projects and moving on.”

This is very sad…definitely for hardcore HSM fans!!! 😦

So, expect to see a whole brand new cast for High School Musical 4, which will air sometime next year on Disney Channel.

It’s gonna be weird not seeing Zac, Vanessa, Ashley, Corbin, Monique, and Lucas, not being in the fourth installment of HSM.

MUSIC: Cast Of High School Musical 3 – “Now Or Never” Planet Premiere!

The release of the new High School Musical 3: Senior Year, keeps getting closer and closer every single day, and we can’t wait!

The new song off of the movie and the soundtrack, “Now or Never,” will premiere on Radio Disney’s Planet Premiere this Friday (July 12), so make sure you guys listen! 🙂

We think just from the clip we heard, it might be better than “What Time Is It?,” from HSM 2.
