The Cheetah Girls One World Loses Viewers! — Could It Be Because of Raven Not Appearing???

26 Aug

Sorry everyone for us not posting…but, our laptop has been getting repaired.

But, anyways…did anyone watch The Cheetah Girls One World last Friday (August 22)???

Well we did, what did yall think???

We personally, didn’t like it as much as we thought we would. The Cheetah Girls 2 is still our fav! 😀

But, besides their whole premiere special on Disney Channel, the movie only pulled in 6.2 million viewers on its premiere night…that’s kinda bad.

The Cheetah Girls movies and High School Musical movies were supposed to be Disney’s biggest TV movies…right?

Well, the premiere of The Cheetah Girls 2, starring Raven-Symone, brought in 7.8 million viewers on its premiere night, and the soundtrack sold 1.6 million copies, according to Billboard magazine.

Even the original movie did better than the third. It brought in 6.5 million viewers on its premiere night, back in 2003.

Also, The Cheetah Girls One World soundtrack isn’t looking to sell nearly as good as the second or first soundtrack has.

The movie did feel like it was missing Raven in it, but it was a nice effort.

MUSIC VIDEO: The Cheetah Girls – “Cheetah Love”

4 Aug

This is the latest (3rd) music video released from The Cheetah Girls, for their new Disney Channel Original Movie The Cheetah Girls One World.

We have to be completely honest, and say, this is the best song they have released so far from the movie. But, the song isn’t the greatest song I’ve heard by The Cheetahs.

Could the music be off because Raven-Symone isn’t a Cheetah anymore??? We don’t know.

Anyways, leave your thoughts on the music video in the comments!!! 🙂

NEW MUSIC: The Cheetah Girls – “Dance Me If You Can”

9 Jul

New music from The Cheetah Girls, from their new Disney Channel Original Movie The Cheetah Girls One World!

The song is called “Dance Me If You Can,” and probably the best song featured in the movie, which will premiere on Disney Channel on August 22nd, at 8pm EST. The soundtrack will be in stores August 19th, via Walt Disney Records.

I know, some fans are still upset that Raven-Symone isn’t apart of The Cheetah Girls movies anymore, and we’re kinda still upset too!

But, besides the fact, we are still lovin’ the new song by The Cheetah Girls!

What do you guys think of the new song???

The Cheetah Girls One World Official Movie Trailer!

We’re actually shocked that we are excited to see The Cheetah Girls One World, since Raven-Symoné won’t be featured in it, we really didn’t want to support it.

We have a feeling that this could be the last movie of The Cheetah Girls.

Anyways, the movie will premiere on Disney Channel on August 22, at 8pm EST! 🙂

The Cheetah Girls are ‘Having A Blast’ in India without Raven-Symone!

14 Mar

The Cheetah Girls, a phenomenally popular trio of teen singing stars, are in the middle of shooting their latest movie in India for the Disney Channel. Filming The Cheetah Girls One World for eight weeks on location in Udaipur and Mumbai has been a challenging but exciting experience for the girls, who say they’ve become big fans of India’s music and food.

They told us before we left, ‘Girls, it’s kind of scary,’ but I love it! We’ve had a blast,” Kiely Williams told India-West on a recent phone call from Udaipur. “Bombay is so packed and busy — our car ran into an auto rickshaw and I freaked out. ‘No problem,’ said the driver!” she giggled.

We love everything about India, and we’ve been immersing ourselves in the culture. I love kathi rolls — I call them Indian burritos.

In the new TV movie, which will air in the United States in August and around the world in the fall, the girls encounter rejection from New York City music producers and finally land their big break with an offer to star in what they think is a Hollywood production but turns out to be a Bollywood movie produced in India.

Aqua (Williams), Chanel (Adrienne Bailon), and Dorinda (Sabrina Bryan) are eager to go, but everything changes when they arrive in India and discover the films’ shrewd producer only wants one Cheetah Girl to star in the movie. The Cheetah Girls One World is directed by Paul Hoen and also stars acclaimed actor Roshan Seth and Deepti Daryanani, a young Kolkata-born actress who starred in HBO’s “The Anatomy of Hope.”

The three Cheetah Girls, talented dancers as well as singers and actresses, have found new respect for Bollywood’s high-endurance performers, they said.

Adrienne Bailon said the film would have three or four large-scale dance numbers, including a massive and colorful piece shot at Udaipur’s Lake Palace. “I’ll be in pink,” she noted.

Williams, whose strength is hip-hop dance, says learning the new Indian style has been an eye-opener. “Hip-hop is a very introverted style, very rough and tough,” said Williams. “But the Indian dance is very feminine. The women are so graceful, so well put-together.”

Sabrina Bryan said that she had fallen in love with Udaipur’s architecture, dance, music and colors. But “being away from home has not been easy,” she said. “Communicating, with the time difference, is hard. It’s night here, and morning in the States,” she told India-West with a yawn.

The girls have not yet met any Bollywood stars, but they hoped to, they said. “What’s his name — Shah Rukh Khan? — we see his face everywhere,” said Williams. “We are trying to get him in the film!

Sabrina Bryan feels the movie will present a unique opportunity for these girls to understand and appreciate a culture that they know nothing about. “We’ve really been able to take the Cheetahs to a new level, with this Bollywood aspect,” she told India-West. “India is something a lot of our viewers have not experienced.”
