Miley Cyrus Apologizes for Mocking Selena Gomez & Demi Lovato!

Miley Cyrus has kinda-sorta apologized for mocking fellow Disney stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato in a YouTube video.
“If we offended them, we’re super sorry,” Cyrus told Popstar! magazine. “We were just, like, having fun, you know what I mean?”
The Hannah Montana star, 15, and pal Mandy Jiroux recreated a video made by Gomez, 16, and Lovato, 15, on their Miley & Mandy YouTube channel.
In the vid, Cyrus and Jirox make fun of a T-shirt worn by Gomez and a gap that Lovato, star of Camp Rock, used to have in her teeth…SO OBVIOUSLY SHE WAS MAKING FUN OF THEM!!!
Gomez, who appears on Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place, has been dubbed “The Next Miley Cyrus.” She’s also reportedly dating Cyrus’ alleged ex, Nick Jonas.
But Cyrus maintains that she was just kidding around on her video, which ends with the message,“Parody of Selena Gomez & Demi Lovato. Check out our friends’ YouTube!!!”
“Elvis says imitation is the greatest form of flattery,” Cyrus said. “We were like, imitating them, you know? Like, being funny.”
Lovato and Gomez have not yet commented on the video or quasi-apology.

Oh please! For god sakes Selena and Demi, stop being so sensitive! We all know it was a friendly parody of their video. It says so at the end of the video and Selena and Demi know it was a joke. Miley & Mandy also made a video after the parody one saying how they thought Demi and Selena were gorgeous and talented. Don’t even tell me she’s a snobby diva! She’s very talented and it was a simple joke. The media is taking it WAY TOO far. I actually met Selena once, and sorry to say, but SHE’S a huge snobby diva. When asked for autographs, she stopped smiling and walked backstage.

Miley adn MAndy should have thought about what they were doing BEFORE they put the video out. it was mean and insensitive!!!!!!

I have to agree with you Sarah. I am not a fan of Hannah/ Miley or whatever her name is but unless either of you (megan and truejbfan14) have met miley i don’t think you can judge whether or not shes a good person. We have all made fun of other people and we all make mistakes. Plus, Miley says that its just a joke. And for miley and mandy acting their age their 2 fifteen year old who have to deal w/ the stress of being famous and having the entire world critique their every action. They deserve a little bit of compassion.

I agree with truejbfan14. Miley Cyrus is a female dog, if you know what I mean. Selena and Demi are better singers and actresses. Miley has NO talent and needs to get over herself. She’s a hypocrite, too. In an interview she said that she doesn’t think Selena is the Miley because you can’t have a next someone. Then when she was told she’s like the next Madonna, she said thank you. If ever met Miley, I would probably would punch her in her ugly face.

ok. maybe m&m were just being funny and didn’t mean any harm.
but it was still done in bad taste. and it was a very insensitive thing to do. it was a joke gone too far.
these kids are 15 years old.. and they’re not just any 15 year olds.. they’re in the scrutiny of the public eye. they all need to watch what they say and do.

Miley is a snobby diva! I’m not a big fan of Demi’s (I love Selena though!), but they shouldn’t be making fun of her for having a gap in her teeth, or of anything! She claims to be a Christian, well that gives Christian’s a bad name if they go around making fun of people!
