Album Review: Hannah Montana actress Miley Cyrus, 16, releases her new album Breakout, the follow-up to her 2007 debut Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus.
The new album features the hit “7 Things,” and “See You Again (Rock Mafia Remix).” The songs “Breakout,” “Full Circle,” “Fly On The Wall,” and the remake of Cyndi Lauper’s classic “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” and our favorite “Bottom Of The Ocean,” make this album an instant teen classic!
One of the big let downs with Breakout is that it focuses more on Alternative/Rock, and Meet Miley Cyrus had more Pop, and a little bit of Alternative. But, that’s ok. Some of the boring parts on Breakout come from the last couple of songs, like “These Four Walls,” “Simple Song,” and “Goodbye.”
Overall, we did buy the album. It’s an amazing album, and is easily addicting to Miley Cyrus fans, but may be a little bit harder for her younger fans of Hannah Montana to connect and like the music.

Selena Gomez is an amazing actress and an ok singer.
Demi Lovato is an amazing singer and an ok actress.
They both have talent.
The Jonas Brothers, amazing band, alright actors.
Disney is finally picking it up a bit,
Miley needs to go.

about 0 stars out of five?
that sounds much better and much more f’itting for this excuse of an album. i haven’t even heard all of the songs yet, but the preveiws on iTunes sound horrible. most of the songs she’s screaming her lungs out and most of them were written about Nick J! Get over him Miley, he’s not coming back! Especially after you put all the things you hated about him in a frickin’ song!!!!
Not worth the money people. Save it for “A Little Bit Longer.”

I think Breakout is awesome! I bought it the day it came out. The songs “Breakout” & “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” are a little weak, but she didn’t write those two. The other songs are amazing! I especially like “Goodbye”, It’s so beautiful.

i never realized that people didn’t like her i thought everyone did but i guess that’s disney for you they like to blow things out of proportion, and make everyone of their actresses singers. Personally i think she has a decent voice i just don’t care for her music. when it comes to her songs she needs to be a little more original they were mostly breakup songs. Also she doesn’t have a very wide singing range

While as Hannah, the former CD was decent and I would listen along with my daughters. We bought the new Breakout and it’s a flop. Personally, I didn’t like it, but waited for my daughters to listen and make their own call. One likes two songs, but not the rest, the other doesn’t like it at all. My kids are pre-teen, so maybe it’s geared for the teenagers, but our take would not be a 4.85, nor is the majority of the site’s we’ve visited giving it much more than 2 stars….but isn’t it geared for the teenagers, like herself???

I love miley cyrus! i think shes a very hardworking person. I think that people are just hating on her because they think she should be a role model. well guess what, if people have “learned” from miss demi and selena, they should know better than to hate on someone because of their mistakes. if u hate miley so much because of reasons not even liable, then just keep it to urself. Miley gets hurt with all those rude stuff.

Great album! It’s better than all the other trashy albums out there, but that’s just my opinion (so leave yours to yourself; don’t be childish and bash others’ opinions). She shows true talent in ‘Breakout.’

Her new CD is great and my favorite song is Bottom of the oceasn because it makes me think of my Ex-Bf. i can’t wait until her next CD!!!!!

I love this album. Definitely worth buying. I love the direction Miley has gone into and the songs are sooo catchy they’ll be a huge hit!
