Disney’s Hannah Montana Helped To Create Metro Station?

The “Shake It” singer Trace Cyrus, who is the lead singer of the band Metro Station, has to thank half-sister, Miley Cyrus, and Mitchel Musso, of Hannah Montana, for the forming of Metro Station.
Why?…you ask. If it hadn’t been for Hannah Montana, chances are good that Trace Cyrus never would have met Mason Musso, his Metro Station partner in crime.
“It was our parents who told us we should meet,” Cyrus told MTV News this week. “I already knew [Mason's] little brother, Mitchel, because he’d been cast on Hannah Montana with my sister, and [the show is the reason I moved] to California, as [did] Mason’s family.
One day, Miley gave me a CD of Mason’s, and I fell in love with the music. I went down to the ['Hannah Montana'] set one day to hang out with my sister, and Mason was there. We hung out a little bit and talked about music. The next week, I think, I went over to his house, and we recorded our first song. Ever since then, we’d get together every weekend to make music, and I think our parents are shocked that it turned into something more than they expected.”
Wow…we never knew that Miley’s brother was Trace, from Metro Station!

It’s not like Miley marched up to a record label and said sign my brother’s band or anything. I think because he is Miley’s older brother he got a lot of exposure and this allowed the industry to see his band’s talent.
I have no doubt that Trace worked his butt off to get where he is now, plus, who cares its all about the music and his music is great!!!

Actually I’m pretty sure that an intern to the Metro Station’s recording label “accidentaly” heard them playing or something and got them signed. It had nothing to do with the connections of their siblings.

trace and the band definately worked really hard for this. miley did sort of help but not really. it was mainly there parents. and they deserve everything theyve got. it all happened really fast but they are such a talented band. i seriously love everyone of there songs. and i most definately love trace and trace and masons voices are soo perfect together. you guys have an awesome sound and go with eachother perfect. lots of love. cant wait to see you guys again next time you come to canada!

i hate Hannamontana so much shes hogging up the stage i rather see the JonasBrothers there my fave band i allways hate going to a store and seeing her face …..i never see jb stuff any were…but i find it.i kinda like metro station.even though my cousin likes hannamontana it doesnt bother me but shes 5.. all well we all have different oppions..dont get affended by this hanna montana lovers just making a point that the Jonas Brothers are way better JoeJonas is so sexy and hott.Oh and hanna’s AKA (mileyCyrus) daddy writes all of her songs that is why shes famous duhh!!!!!
